JUICE REVIEW: HOME MADE CAKE BY MDL E-LIQUID PRODUCTION

I'll break regular programming for a juice review. Today, we take a look at Home Made Cake by MDL E-Liquid Production.
I didn't intend to write juice reviews since I think it's a really subjective matter. What tastes great for me may not fly well with others and vice versa. That's why I'll try to describe the flavor, throat hit, and all that other stuff instead. This review is according to my taste buds and personal opinion so I welcome input from everyone who wish to chime in.

Home Made Cake is a curious-sounding flavor for a juice line. Without researching about it, I immediately thought that it was going to be a custard-flavored e-liquid with maybe a little bit of caramel on the side.

It was intriguing to say the least so I got a bottle from VapeNetwork Daet during my recent stay in Bicol. Here are my thoughts on this e-liquid:

Fairly priced - I think the P400 price tag for a 120ml bottle is pretty spot-on. It's bang for your buck as they say. You get a lot of vape time for a reasonable amount of money.

Packaging - I personally like the design of the label. It doesn't look like it will be picked up by some kid off the counter. One thing I'd like to see though is correct labeling for the nicotine content and total ml of the e-liquid.

Viscosity - I like the consistency of this e-liquid. It's got the right "depth" that I usually go for when it comes to e-liquids. It's easy to pour out of the gorilla bottle and is absorbed fairly well by the wicks.

Aroma - I've gotten a lot of comments from people (vapers and non-vapers alike) about the aroma of this e-liquid. They all say that they like it and it reminds them of desserts. I think that's an attractive point. The aroma does somehow remind you of cake.

Color - Home Made Cake is yellowish in color. It's appetizing if you ask me (reminds me of the color of Customixed's Strawberry Cream.) Although this may be a factor to mild cotton discoloration especially after a few days of vaping the same wicks.

Flavor profile - I'm a fan. After the first few puffs, I can already say that it will be one of my new favorites. I really appreciate the balance of sweetness and flavor. It has a mild strawberry taste that doesn't get in the way of the custard/cake flavor. It took me just a little less than two weeks to down a full bottle. Perfect for everyday vaping, IMO.

Throat hit - I usually go for true rated 3mg or 6mg e-liquids and I have to say that the 3mg HMC hits the target pretty close. I'd love to try the 6mg blend since I particularly like the noticeably smooth throat hit from the 3mg bottle.

SUMMARY:

I would definitely recommend this flavor to friends and other vapers who are open to suggestions. It's flavorful (flavorful is different from sweet) and it's really affordable. I enjoyed every drop. It's definitely worth a try especially if you're curious as to what "home made cake" tastes like.

Good job to the maker, Mackie D' Luffy and his team. Maybe my only gripe with this line is that it's not easily available in my location. It's just a little nit-picking on my part, I know.
